MELIVAR POLICIES
Payments and refunds
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Requesting a project
Submitting a project brief is free. Melivar reviews the scope and may ask questions before providing a quote. No project work or payment obligation is created by submitting the initial brief alone.
2. Quotes and initial deposit
Once the scope and price are agreed in writing, the project normally starts after an initial deposit, commonly 50% of the agreed price. The exact amount, currency, milestones and what each payment covers are confirmed in your quotation. A payment link is issued for that agreed amount and may expire or be invalidated if the quotation changes.
3. PayPal and payment verification
Where PayPal is available, checkout and transaction processing occur through PayPal. Melivar confirms payment on the server side before updating project payment status. A browser redirect or screenshot alone is not proof of payment. Never send a payment to a personal account or use a link you cannot verify as belonging to your Melivar project.
4. Currency and balance payments
Project quotes and payment links are currently issued in U.S. dollars (USD). PayPal, your card issuer or your bank may display or settle an equivalent local-currency amount using its own exchange rate and may apply conversion or cross-border fees. Check the amount and currency shown by PayPal before approving the payment.
The remaining project balance is due at the milestone described in your agreement, often when the work is ready for your review. Any final payment link should show the agreed amount and currency. If a payment appears completed but your project status has not updated, contact support with the transaction reference; do not make a duplicate payment before we review it.
5. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Because digital work may involve discovery, design, development, licensing and time already spent, the refund treatment depends on your agreement, the work performed, payments captured, any third-party costs and applicable consumer law. Send a written cancellation or refund request with your project identifier and reason. Melivar will review completed work, costs and contractual terms and respond with the next steps. Nothing here removes non-waivable rights under applicable law.
6. Disputes and support
Contact Melivar first so we can review the quote, milestones and payment records. Keep your receipt and project correspondence. For payment questions use the contact page; for the current project state visit My projects.
